Dark eye circles are cause by poor blood circulation around the capillaries. Having more sleep doesn't helps that much. Remember not to drink water an hour before you go to bed. This will cause eye bags too. Try to do exercise often to increase the flow of healthy blood. There is one eye product that sells in C.K Tang but I forgot the name of the product. It costs about $200 for a tube and it has amazing results to improves the condition of dark eye circle. Its just near the entrance on the left side of M.A.C counter.perhaps you can check it out.

Dark circles under the eyes can point to kidney and/or liver issues. I had to insist on having these tests done.
I can give you some tips to get rid of those :
Cucumber juice is essentially cooling and soothing, and it has mild bleaching properties. Apply it daily to your dark circles, and you will see a difference. However, this is not a permanent remedy. Also, make sure you drink enough water, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep.

Dark circles are due to 3 reasons: Heridity, lack of sleep, stress and strain and wrong diet.

Be sure you have 8 hours of your beauty sleep. Include a multivitamin with iron tablet in your diet. Eat at least one green leafy vegetable a day. Gently dab around your eyes with a pad of absorbent cotton soaked in warm tea.

All the answers about getting more sleep are silly, that's an old wives tale. Sadly they're herditory and you can't get rid of them, per se, but YSL Touch Eclat is good at covering them. It's expensive, but the cheaper ones just dont seem to do the trick (I know, I have the same problem).

Keep your eyes clean. Remove them twice a week and rinse them off in clear, cool water. Never use hot water or your eye will cook like a hard-boiled egg.

But seriously for just one week, go to bed at 9:30pm every night - no excuses - get tough with yourself. at the end of the week you'll tell the difference.

i found it odd that almost everyone attributed it to lack of sleep. yes, lack of a vitamin can cause it also - vitamin E (i also found it odd that people said to take a multivitamin). however, before you start popping vitamins, (since no one really asks their doctor) make sure they are water soluble as opposed to fat soluble (vitamin E is fat soluble). water and your body can rid itself of the excess, fat soluble collects in the body and can become a harmful toxin. avaried diet is probably the best way to find out if your dark circles are caused by a vitamin defficiency. sunflower seeds, almonds, and papaya are good sources for vitamin E in particular.

Sleep refreshes the skin and other systems. Also keep hydrated in this hot weather - drink plenty of water. That helps. You should drink four pints a day.
