I have 4 very close older friends. One I have known since kindergarten.(24 years )
3 since 6th and 7th grade. (16-17 years)
We still talk regularly and would visit and talk more often had I not moved 650 miles from where they are.

Of the many friends Ive had over 36 years two are still with me. One i have known for 24 yrs. we still talk almost everyday and another i have known for 22 yrs. we talk 2 or more times a month. This is very rare these days. Don't let the small stuff come between you. Pride is a cruel emotion that leaves you lonley and bitter. Be the first to apoligize its worth it 20 yrs later. Trust me

Not all of them. Some of them betrayed me in the worst ways and haven't talked to them since. I met my best friend about 4 years ago and I have connected with her more than I had ever connected with my childhood friends and many years of friendship. I can say I am only able to count my real friends on the fingers of one hand.

Most people I know I have known for just over ten years,wouldn't say that was old given my age but it's a fairly long time.

I am regulary in contact with all the people i cared about at school, and they are my oldest friends.
