Does the world know that 20'000 people are murdered a year in Violent crimes, more than 30'000 women raped a year, over 20 armed robberies a day in one area. Do they know that politically South Africa is unstable can't handle themsevles, never mind 400'000 tourists who don't know about the crime and violence. 1 policeman is killed per day.

No. There'll be lots of corruption which will make the Italian scandal look like a drop in the ocean!
Look at the ticket scandal in Germany - who's involved? An African FIFA official which goes to show that it's CORRUPTION TIME in 2010! Mark my word!

Yes i think that will be ok.We need to explor new worlds and suport S Africa because is a beautiful continent.If 2010 Soccer will be in Africa there is gonna be a lot of ppl and money from turism.In Africa more than a half oh ppl have HIV.Mabey this will suport to cure and have a better life.

Why is everyone so worried? FIFA wouldnt want the world cup to be hosted in a place where the players and fans would be harmed..im sure they will take care of such things and increase security...
..and if they don't..then...well..?!

hey, i know all that sounds bad, but i've lived in s.a. all my life and i'v never been raped or attacked. sure, there's a lot of crime but everyone supports soccer here and all of us are honored that we're hosting it and we'll all try and make it a success. just have a little faith!
