Somebody else would have looked up at an apple tree and figured out gravity. And his laws as well. And if noone did, then when Einstein came along he probably wouldhave anyway.
No-one is indispensible. Life goes on brotha! The world keeps a-turnin... don't think just coz u could erase Newton off them history books you'd get off with less school work -- sumbuddy else would come along just the same...

Jest21 has it right, but even more so geneologically speaking if there was no Newton or he was rubbed out, you may not be alive today depending on if he happened to be your ancestor or not.
