Morph appeared mainly in one minute "shorts" interspersed throughout the show. These were connected to the main show by having Hart deliver a line or two to Morph who would reply in gobbledygook but with meaningful gestures. Later on, Morph was joined by cream-coloured Chas, who was much more badly behaved.

Morph made his first appearance in "Take Hart". Peter Lord and David Sproxton - then a little-known Bristol company - invented Morph, and later Morph's pale friend Chas (pronounced "Chaz") arrived to keep Morph company.

Chaz - a lighter clay lookalike but very nasty. He was always trying to outsmart Morph but efforts would always backfire
There was also:
Gran-morph Delilah- very bossy -always wore yellow.
Folly -made from a tin-foil
Gillespie - a blue giant
Nailbrush -a 'pet' that looked - surprisingly - like a nailbrush.
The Very Small Creatures- small Plasticine balls with eyes
Funnily enough, I heard a tune on Soccer Am months ago and it has been really annoying me, but answering your question has triggered something and I now remember the tune was the one that accompanied Mr Noseybonk. Yeahh!!
Remember him from 'Take Hart'?

he was white and not as nice as Morph if i remember correctly...
but Tony Hart is a legend! used to watch his show religiously

Oh my God, the memories come flooding back! But unfortunately I can't remember the dudes name. He was created a while after Morph hey? Kind of not as nice as Morph if I remember correctly. Sorry, can't think of his name though.
