Asteroids are also orbiting around the sun but there sizes are small comparing to planet. How bigger the size an asteroid must be and shape?

a bunch of egg-head scientists must agree that t is a planet rather than an asteroid. That's really about it. The difference is semantic only and exists only in the name...a rose by any other name smells as sweet

Planets have generally a stable orbit around their suns and must be sizable. What is sizable? Well, some people still consider Pluto not a planet.

It must orbit a star in a continous pattern and be of a certain size.

It has to have an atmosphere, it has to be bigger then Pluto, it has to be somewhat round in a shape.
