Yes it's possible to have sex with someone without emotions getting involved but being that you two are friends and both WOMEN at that it's going to be hard...but why not stop over thinking things and take a chance...it might turn into something else

I would say no, because I believe it would be impossible to have sex w/o emotion involved with a good friend. That is not to say that friends can not become girlfriends, but unless it is naturally developing into a relationship, I think sex which may only last a few hours, is not worth a friendship that could last a life time.

Sex ALWAYS changes a friendship. Good sex is difficult to do without emotional attachment, and that is already there because you are already friends. Good friends are hard to find. I would recommend no sex, because it is impossible to have casual sex with someone you already love as a friend. I have never believed in casual sex anyhow, but then I'm an old fuddy duddy. If eventually you do become lovers, hopefully it is because you want a long term relationship with this person as a life mate. Good luck.

I wouldn't do it there is an old saying"once lovers never friends" I find in my case and many others to be very true indeed.Don't ruin a good friendship unless u can just do it for the sex with no emotion,whatever turns u on cheers.

Once you have the desire everything in the friendship will be different if you fufill the desire or try to you may or may not lose a friend. but if you try to ignore the desire you may find yourself drifting away from them to lessen the want for what you desire to have happen
As for sex with out emotion I wouldn't recomend it

Keep the friendship, good friends are hard to find. Nope, sex changes things and it will have some kinds of emotions for you both.

I think it is possible (not preferable) to have sex once with somebody and neither person is emotionally involved. If you continue to have sex together, emotions build. Sometimes more one-sided, sometimes not. But you're right, sex with a friend is risking the friendship. Doesn't have to destroy it, but often does, or at least change it.

If you choose to have sex, know that you are gambling away the friendship. You may still be friends after, you may not be.
Perhaps, is this someone you really like? Would you want to take the risk and see if it could turn into a relationship?

you already have emotions towards her because she is your friend....i wouldnt use a friend just for sex, and then try to walk away..this is going to leave both of you feeling empty inside, and not sure your friendship would be strong enough to deal with this..if you just want a piece of a$$ plenty of places to go looking for that...but if you want a serious loving relationship who knows maybe your friend is the answer. p.s sexual partners come and go, but true friends last forever
