they're basically making plans on taking evidence at this point and could no longer surely stop the ships. As for doing some thing approximately international warming, Australia could be removing the stupid 3 mines coverage which will enable for the availability of gasoline for the nuclear industry (and on condition that Australia contributes a pair of p.c. of world warming allowing different international locations to cut back their emissions is extra substantial than lowering Australian emissions). decrease back interior the olden days of Whaling the IWC which exchange into set as much as look after whales exchange into allowing a loose for all which severely depleted whale inventory so there quite does could be somebody keen to look after the aspects even however via now the eastern ought to probable be depended directly to no longer overharvest (they're getting extraordinarily good at sustainable fishing) so it may then merely be a question of no count if the whales are clever beings (wherein case no longer making use of a warship to stop whaling could be unethical) or no longer clever (wherein case the warships could be scuffling with Greenpeace and Sea Shepherds).

Hi Hanafubuki. I'm afraid that most of us only know what we see or hear on news etc. It's good to know that you don't agree with the killing of whales but I guess the situation is governed by the supply and demand of whale meat and other whale products.

I am a foreigner living in Japan and I have to say I am shocked that whaling is never in the media or even talked about. I know all Japanese are not in favour of it but maybe you could yell or jump up and down and say you are against it rather than do nothing.

Here in North America, we vocalize our discontent with our government's policies in order to exert pressure for change.
Whether you as an individual supports whaling or not is immaterial. Your government (your representative on the world's stage) sanctions whaling, and i highly doubt that your conviction as an individual will ever cause political policy to change.
I respect your anti-whaling stance, but would have more respect for anti-whaling activism.
