Two types;
1. is a contact herbicide. The best ones contain stuff called glyophosphate. tumbleweed and roundup are trade names for this stuff.
2. Is a soil-based treatment which usually contains sodium chlorate. This is the "pathclear" type weedkiller.

Hi,
Glyphosate is usually in a lot of weed killers. But, if you want somthing that kills tree stumps, brambles and weeds try 'Root Out' by Dax Products telephone number 0115 526 996 Fax 0115 966 1173. You can buy this from good garden centres. I have used this and it really does work.
Good luck.

often i hate you because of the fact i like to stroll in my backyard at night with sandals on. now and returned you have been busy and function made a lot of those fantastic hills and that i holiday over them, and many times finally end up with sand in my sandals, which negates the very rationalization why i wore sandals interior the 1st place. fortunately i'm smarter than you on the subject of the flowers and function planted field gardens, so which you will not rip via the flowers such as you do the grass. in simple terms stay out of my backyard. there are an excellent style of acres of woods back in the back of the grass that i nail submitting so lovingly. You dont might desire to muck all of it up when I've worked so not user-friendly. in case you reside on your portion of the backyard, i will stay to mine. Truce.

Roundup is a great weedkiller and it comes in different strengths. I won't use anything else. It kills even the most stubborn plants.

There are two..Roundup and Preen....they both work pretty well...just make sure you use it on a windless day or it can blow on to other plants that you don't want to kill.
