Yes go for Oil of Olay Active Hydrogel. Its fantastic. Its water-based so totally non-greasy and leaves a lovely translucent, powdery feel behind which is unusual as it is a gel. Rub deep into the skin, using sparingly. It will moisturise the dermis beautifully while not being greasy. Patt dry with some face tissue to remove any shine. This product is excellent and lasts. You can buy it at Boots or Superdrugs. I have been buying it for years and swear but it.

try using Juvena of Switzerland skin care - it is amazing and evens out skin texture, rids redness. If it is really a different texture though - could be eczema or something - try a dermatologist but that skin care line is sooo amazing - you look better in about 3 days. A bit pricey so shop around but not the worst I have seen as far as prices go - all products are guranteed and if you go to their website, they will send you free samples if you send them your info via email and request samples. The products are sold at Bath and Body Works as well as online stores. Good luck!

Use Hydrogen Peroxide to even your skin tone and kill bacteria that can make you break out. It's cheap and it works.
