Alright, look. I know it was from the popular in the 70's. People still say cool (coo), etc. And that came out in the late 40's.

I heard that on an old TV show a couple of weeks ago and I cracked up! People probably don't say that anymore because it sounds so silly!

maybe cause people have actually come to a respect for turkeys now and do not wish to desecrate them anymore

I love that phrase! Still occasionally use it, too, much to the chagrin of my kids. However, if the term fits . . . :-)
