because that is what they think is more pleasurable to them. It fulfills their desire which they are doing with their own money. it is a personal choice & it is not quite right to say that they are not helping poor people. For all we know they MIGHT be contributing a bit in terms that we don't know .
For them spending on porn is just like enjoying themselves by spending on a movie, clothes etc.

Its the way those "some" people help lift up their poor sexual spirits. A way or another, they are helping themselves here that's why they haven't thought of the poor people.

sexual gratification is easier to get then a sense of helping someone from a computer. especially with a credit card in wich you see nothing but the numbers and the signature go by.

They can spent their hard earned money the way they pleased and you really have no right to tell people what to do with their own money.just because you want to donate all your money to the poor does not mean they have to do the same. each person has to live with his own conscience.you can not impose your conscience to others. We all have a different standard to live by.You've choosen yours, leave them alone. live with it!

Mostly likely is that they see it and become addicted to it. As the become more addicted to it, they need more and are willing to go certain lengths to get some.
