Anyone know of a good but not to pricey TV card for the computer? Mainly looking to do some recording here and there of TV shows that I can later burn on to disc...like a Tivo type of thing.

There are DVD recorders that are similar in price to TV cards or graphics cards for computers. If all your planning to do is record tv shows, I would recommend getting a dvd recorder, that will instantly record shows for you onto a DVD disc.

Tv cards can be both internal or external.
For internal TV card(internal is the best as it has many features.)
You should go for "Pinnacle TV Tuner Card" Its the best.

You should also get windows Media Centre Edition to use your card with more efficiency.

But, the video recorded by the cards take a lot of space.
