You know, you could try much smaller communities than yahoo answers to find one. What do you like? Is there a specific book that you like? An author? Perhaps cooking is your thing? Try to find people with your interests. Sign up on a small forum, a close-knit community and become one of the family. Then you can have that pen-pal you want. But, remember to be careful in who you talk to, because not everyone is nice on the internet.
