Hi! I just had a tummy tuck done on July 11th. I, too, had that sagging stomach left over from my twin pregnancy and C-section 3 years ago.
I am also 5 foot 2 inches, but I was 150lbs when I had my tummy tuck. I would recommend LOSING THE WEIGHT FIRST. Getting a tummy tuck now would be a waste of money.
Have you talked to your doctor about laser gastric bypass? Are you a good candidate? If so, GO FOR IT, then get the tummy tuck.....you will definitely need the tummy tuck to get rid of that excess skin left over from that!
Otherwise, I have at least 4 friends that lost A LOT of weight on Weight Watchers in like 7 months. They all followed the "Points" plan on WW and increased their aerobic exercise A LOT. So, maybe think about that before going through with the gastric surgery...
I am VERY HAPPY with my tummy tuck and my new FLAT STOMACH! If you have any questions about the tummy tuck surgery and recovery, feel free to contact me through Yahoo Answers! (I think you can get to a link through my avatar.)
Whatever you do, best wishes! You are going to feel amazing.

My sister had gastric bypass surgery and lost 80 pounds. She had to have it done over again by a better doctor and now it has been a complete success. Her insurance won't pay for a tummy tuck or she would have gotten it. The surgery has changed her life for the better.
You have to decide yourself what to do. It is a very serious surgery and there are some foods you can't eat after that. Good Luck in what ever you do.

Really, I think losing the weight first is the best, because unless you retrain yourself with a new lifestyle of eating to stay slim and healthy, you will only keep putting back on, any weight you lose by surgery.
But AFTER the weight is off, GO FOR IT!!!!!! and good luck
Lucky you, wish I could afford to get rid of the tummy excess, NO excercise seems to move it.
great eating plans to lose weight steadily and permanently can be found on the net, just beware of "crank" diets, which can be dangerous.

Tummy tucks have been done for quite a while now. If I was having one done I would check out the Doc or group through BBB, the Doc organizations and get rec. from others. Make sure you are looking at quality not cheapest price.

Get tummy tuck surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.
my cousin got a couple of plastic surgery including tummy tuck after previous c sections procedures through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA.hope this helps. i strongly recommend you to check out this company as yours and my cousins history is very similar

here is a thought, lose it slowly over a year , and you won't need any of that surgery. its a funny thing about thqbody, it is changable. if you lose weight slowly, your skin will shrink back to fit the fat that is there. diet, and exercise, instead of taking the lazy person's way out, because in a year, you're gonna be 262 lbs.
