The Who because they started all hard rock, even punk bands like The Ramones and The Sex Pistols were influenced by them. Motley Crue and Guns n' Roses are good, but do not compare to the sheer ferocity of The Who. Roger and Pete still kick A** in there early sixties! lol!

Mick Mars of Motley Crue is great on guitar but Slash of Guns n' Roses is kick ***. He was great and very talented and can play most forms of music.
