In Canada, we get a good selection of British programming. We can watch old comedies such as "Are you being served?", "Monty Python's flying circus", "Keeping up appearances", "As time goes by" and "To the manor born". I grew up with these programmes and still enjoy them today.

CBC airs "Coronation street" and "Emmerdale", which are about nine months and three years old respectively. I never used to watch Corrie, but like to watch something that reminds me of home! They have recently started airing "Hustle", and "Doctor Who" returns in October, which I can't wait for!!

There is a BBC Canada channel which shows a lot of BBC programmes, including "EastEnders" (about two years behind),
"Top gear", "Bargain hunt", "Monarch of the Glen", "Casualty", "Only fools and horses" and "Daziel and Pascoe". Their programming constantly changes; they may air a series and repeat it once more after the runs end, then they air different programming.

I am a fan of the old British comedies; the ones from recent years don't really appeal to me. However the dramas are as good as ever and I try to tune into them.

I am a British comedy fanatic.. Brit shows I enjoy/have enjoyed include:
Coupling
Absolutely Fabulous
Vicar of Dibley
French and Saunders
Father Ted
The Office
Keeping up Appearances
Are you Being Served (oh so long ago)
Blackadder
Chef

The list goes on of course. My only wish would be that they made more of them. I'm in the US where a season (series) typically has about 20 episodes minimum whereas my favorite Brit-coms usually only have 6.

In Poland we watch BBC Prime.
We are watching stuff from 3 or 4 years ago in the UK.
Top Gear.
Eastenders.
one foot in the grave.
We are fed up of seeing repeats of repeats of repeats.
We also get these pathetic little time fillers like holiday snaps, Hall of fame etc if we have seen them once we've seen them 25 times.
Glad we aren't paying a licence fee.
