both flats and wedges can be very dressy or very casual. if youre showing lots of leg, a higher heel will give your legs more umph (unless youre at the beach, then flats). imagine a floor length pant with a flat, kitten heel, or high heel and a short skirt with a dainty wedge. brands to look for: nine west, kenneth cole, steve madden, zara, and dsw.

RMK (brand): good for both wedges and flats..
also another brand i like for wedges: Siren'
I have a really nice pair of flats, theyre black, pointy, have a buckle for decoration at the front, and are really comfortable, brand: Rosa (i think)
