Not sure by what you mean by in the case of both male and female - but I do definitely know according to biblical standards that sex is definitely designed for a husband and a wife which is a clear indicator that sex outside of marriage is wrong - the first example and mention of it is in Genesis - after God created Eve for Adam - they were the first husband and wife and it's very interesting that there is no mention of intimacy until after the fall (which is when they ate of the forbidden fruit tree) The bible then mentions that Adam knew Eve (knew in the bible means -knowing in the sense of being sexually intimate) and then they begat their first son - Anytime you engage in sexual activity with anyone you are becoming one intimately which is MUCH deeper than people realize - Once you make that connections whatever is down in that person will be down in you and it is not so easy to shake the things that other people have in them off of you - that is why God designed it for MARRIAGE and he doesn't like divorce - He loves you and won't stop extending his love toward you because of premarital sex or divorce and will forgive you for all of your shortcomings but he set an order for a reason - we often get caught up in what is good to us but it may not necessarily be good for us and God wants what is BEST for us

does it matter really? i presume 99% of us people had sex before marriage..most of the time it helps the relationship grow stronger, the bond deeper and intimate...though there are some women who'd rather wait for that moment to give in to intimacy and sex...which is a beautiful thing...its the greatest gift a woman can give their hubby on their first night :)

It is too early to be impatient , with whom one is going to live for ever , better wait for the right time , after all the rituals are over , one would be blessed for happy married life by the universe .

It is not right, in my opinion. However, the way things are changing socially, it is generally happening everywhere. Hence what should be asked is committment from both partners on not indulging in adultery after marriage.

DEPENDs ON HOW YOU OVER THINK ISSUEs. IF YOUR RELIGIOUS THEN IT'LL BE WRONG, BUT IF YOU BOTH WOULD LIKE TO AND IN THE NEED OF SEXUAL CONTACT, THEN IM SURE ITs NOT AN ISSUE. SOME THINK SEX CAN EXPLAIN MORE PASSION INTO YOUR RELTIONSHIP...ANYWAY...I PRETTY MUCH MESSED UP THE WHOLE SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE AND SURE DID MANY OTHERs. DO AS YOU 2 PLEASE :)
