Nope it doesn't in the least. At my college there are older ppl that go there all the time. Quite a few of them in their 50's. So I say go right ahead and do what is right for you. Plus computer science is very prosperous now days. You are totally bettering yourself in the long run.

of course not, I think is great that to go to college at any age. I'm 30 and I'll graduate in December and I have many classmates that are even older than me. Think about it like this if you don't go time will still pass by and probably you won't get promoted but if you go time will pass but you will have your degree and get promoted. No matter how long it takes you if you have want to go to college don't second guess just go...

You're in good company. I have lots of classmates in their mid-to-late 20s, and I had one that was in his 40s who just graduated. We're all computer science students, too. At least you have ambition! Some people never go to college. Good luck!

Makes you a winner if you stick to it and complete with HIGH grades since you are an adult. If your grades are average or low, it wont help you at all. Com Sci is good but what are you going to use it for? That's the question you need to answer right now.

And I went back for a masters at 59, so there.

Never too late to start. Also many people around that age go back to school for a second career.

Definitely not. At this point, even if you finish at 40, you'll still have a 25-year career doing what you want to be doing- that is not what I call a loser.

it makes you a winner because some people never go at all, and it only helps you in the end.

No, but asking others for your own sense of security does.
