I am German and I just pronounce my sister-in-law´s name as it is written:

-Be- like in English "bet" without the "t"
-a- like the vowel in "cut"
-te- like "te" in "tenacious"

And the stress of the word is on the "a".

Put the emphasis on the "ah" part.
