The troops would be standing at attention and shouting "Sieg Heil!" and giving the Nazi salute. Hitler...I don't know. It's your story; you can make him say anything you want. Good luck!

Anybody who has remotely studied the third Reich will know that there was no such thing about a conversation with Hitler. He would do the talking, people will nod and cluck their heads in agreement. You greeted him 'Heil Hitler'. If it was a mass they would give the 'Sieg Heil' salute.
But Hitler was known to pontificate about numerous philosophical subjects, e.g. military history, arts, architecture.
So I am thinking he would point at a building and then emit, 'That's why the Germans rule the world'. Sounds silly and primitive, but so was the third Reich in many ways.

Here's some quotes, but check out the link below, also there's a site called (I think) "Famous Quotes by Famous People" And it would have a good selection of things that you could paraphrase. The men responding would only be yelling "Sieg Heil" or Heil Hitler!" and then cheering when prompted by a pause in his speech. Even though these guys believed what they were doing was right, it was absolutely a reign of terror, so he'd pause during his speech and that was their cue to cheer like crazy... I hope your piece comes out well, I'm fascinated with this period because when I was growing up alot of my friends grandparents had been in the camps, and I've heard their stories since I was like 6! I always vowed I personally would never let this ever happen again> How sweet I was when I had hope...Also,
Remember his whole rise to power was based on people feeling the need to be led and being stupid enough to be led by anyone. Alot of his quotations are very condescending to his own people: Stuff like "Lucky for rulers that men prefer not to think" "Men will go willfully believeing a large lie, it's harder to convince them of the small lie"
Then the platitudes of if we don't detroy them they will ruin us them being: Jews, Poles, Gays,

Vertrauen Sie nie einem Betriebssystem, dass Sie sich nicht kompiliert haben. =
(never trust an operating system you did not compile yourself)
Ok - on the more serious side - phrases repeated often when inciting followers to near riot :
'we are the master race'
'it is our destiny'
'we can not fail'
'the homeland shall stand against all'
'victory safely' (there's the 'sieg heil' for you, fat lot of good it did)
Tod oder entehrt - 'death or dishonor' (SS boys used that one)
Hitler's main propaganda push originally was for economic control, which solidified his position and allowed a segue into a military orientation, which he proved to be really bad at. That's why you have toadys and fanatics as hangers on, who later get to be Minister of propaganda (now called 'spin doctors'). And some brilliant generals who knew strategy and tactics entirely too well, shame they listened to an abberration like Hitler.
the animated little madman certainly knew how to direct a mob mentality, however.
