Just put a small amount in a bottle and put in close to your body, that way it is no warmer than body temp.

If you're talking about an outer ear infection, i.e. swimmer's ear, you can buy drops for that. Also, anything that goes in the ear should be warmed to avoid getting vertigo and nausea, however, don't put anything in your ear that's not specifically meant for it. Peroxide is probably not a good idea for an ear infection, since it's a liquid, it might just make it worse. If it's an inner ear infection, go to a doctor.

If you have pain you should see a doctor.
If just wax then you can use peroxide at room temp followed by flushing ear out after 5 mins or so. A kit from drugstore is suggested as it contains the bulb to flush the ear as well as ingredients less harsh than straight peroxide.
Don't mess with this if pain, go see a doctor.

use water. it is not recommended... at least by any doctor that i have been to... to use hydrogen peroxide. if the problem is with a lot of wax i would heat it. if not, don't stick anything in your ear.
