Unfortunately, it is too much to ask for. The UN is not worth very much, as we saw in the Iraq situation, when many of the members who opposed action against Iraq were in fact on the Iraqi payroll, in what turned out to be the biggest bribery scandal ever. So, forget the UN, and encourage your government to help stamp out the Hizbollah cretins once and for all.

The government is the official representitive of the Lebanese poeple not Hizbolah (spelling?) so innocent Lebanese poeple should not be punished because of a radical group. I understand where Israel is coming from however the UN does nothing to really enforce peace deals between Israel and other nations, and Israel have had enough of the attacks on their people. Every one involved in this conflict is reprehensible in some way i.e. Hizbolah (no.1, undoublty this is their fault), the Lebanese government, Isreal and the UN.
