Love is the name we've given to several emotional responses...
passion that impels us toward something, need which causes us to cling, desire which causes us to long for, anger which causes us to strike out when love seems not to return, and euphoria when everything in the workl seems perfect. Love encourages reproductive behaviour as well as many other responses. It is an evolutionary development of our species...a release of chemicals that stimulate mental and physical centers.

i think that people have thier own definitions of it b/c people come across it in different ways, feel it at different times, and fall for different types of people.
