Stand-up comedian, or actor? Stand-up comedian I would have to say either Denis Leary, George Carlin or Carlos Mencia. Actor, I would have to say Jim Carrey before he quit doing comedy.

Years ago it was W.C. Fields! He was so funny! I think the best comedian there ever was! He didn't need dirty words, or put downs to make you laugh, all he needed was his own actions! I think everyone should view an old film of his to see just how comical he really was! W.C. Fields was one in a million!
