Do you think that Taylor Hicks was the best singer/entertainer? If you disagree, who would you like to have seen win instead?

I liked Taylor from the beginning, as well as a couple others. I am glad he won. He has a unique style and has great fun performing, instead of getting all stressed out about it. I heard a lot of interviews from him and also from his relatives and friends (our local radio dj for oldies is his second or third cousin, so they had them on pretty much and we got to hear a lot of background info - great personality) Yep, he was the best choice for winner, although Chris was as good as Taylor. Too bad there are no ties... I heard Taylor got 4 million more votes for the finale, so apparently others thought so too.

I personally feel Taylor Hicks may be good but not good enough for a potiential long lasting artist.
I think he won sympathy votes like Ruben. And I doubt he'll be doing all that well in selling albums in the long term. I personally do not enjoy his performances, I find it very karaoke like.
I think Katherine should be have won instead, cuz she got the voice, the looks and I think her voice suit jazz music very well, she's more marketable. Too bad she's going to do regular pop.

Taylor Hicks is one the oldest ones that have won so far, I think, not sure. He's ok, I was hoping for Chris to win!!!

American Idol sux and the concept is way old now. I only watch the auditions to see who's brave enough 2 be on tv making a complete fool of themselves.
Something about that Ryan Seacrest rubs me the wrong way.

I think Taylor sounds and looks like a bad lounge act !! Chris should have won !!Sometimes I wonder what America is thinking.

I like Taylor but he shouldn't have won. Chris was the best..
I don't know what happened there but this was the last year I'll ever watch it.

i did not think he was going to get that far but the people vote and he did . i like two other one was paris and the other was chris

hell no the guy couldnt sing he was a lame entertainer he looked really messed up with all his shaking thats why i like rockstars supernova better
