I never thought calling a woman a creep would get me in so much trouble. My wife doesn't think I'll be invited over to her family's for Xmas. Do you think it'll clear up by then?

there is NO excuse for anyone to call someone the C word.
You have lowered yourself to her level.
I would say your sorry to the famiy. You bet they know how obnoxious this girl is. And it is NOT you problem to solve.
Ignore her. What is more important to you to be right or be happy. Evenyone in the family has put up with her or years. YOu need to work on your anger managemnt and also worry about what sets you off. It is scary.

Be a man, Say you are sorry. This is your wife's family. Just grow up and deal with it. Or woud you choose to make fimaily life messerable for you and those around you.
A mature wise man can take a deep breath and let that bch roll off his back.
Check your fuse........it seems very short

Creep is not really a bad word...its kinda funny though. So you dont get invited whats so bad about that? Yopu married the wife not the sister, Whatever!
Remeber it is what it is.....
It will be over by xmas. If its not why celebrtae xmas? Xmas is about good tidings not hateful memories. Good luck

Yes, family is funny. They can get mad and in a few weeks things are back to normal. However they won't probably be real receptive. But as a family they should honor your wifes decision to stay with you. As for the sister - in -law, what were you thinking? You will never have to live with her, yes around her and she will visit, but for your wifes sake and the sake of keeping the family together I strongly suggest that you may want to apologize and get this worked out before this family becomes seperate.
Have a great one!

I would think an apology needed to clear the air. If you love your wife then you have to respect her family members. You don't need to poke your nose into their business, but just listen. You don't need to get angry with anyone cos everybody has their own character. Like wise people might find you irritating (just an example). next time you see her sister remember to just smile and be polite with your words no matter how she irritates you. Don't take it to heart, and when you leave that house just put whatever you are not happen back to that house. Is way will be better for you andyour wife.

If not you will be able to sit at home in your sweats and watch football. Invite some buddies over and have a little party while she is gone.

Of course it will. Creep is only remembered 'till someone says creepy, then the creep is overpowered and forgotten.

The C word was creep? lol OH, my, you naughty boy. I think you'll be ok if that's really what you called her. If it was something else...you might have a problem~

stay out of female family problems. They will patch up their differences and forgive each other...on the other hand they will not forgive you.

Check out the following web-site. It can answer your questions better than I can. It will also give you a "bird's eye" view of a guy's psyche.
