Do u actually think the end of the world is near with all this hatred and wars going on personally I just think other countries just need to learn to deal with each other in a manner thats apporaite for living with each other war is just plain stupid why can't we all get along

War and hatred have been around since the beginning and I doubt they are going away any time soon. The bad thing is that in the past they didn't have the weapons to destroy the world seven times over like we have today. All it will take is for some mad man like the nut in Iran to launch a nuke and throw the world into a war that will end us all. Our only hope is that we can somehow prevail with reason, but that is a slim hope at best. Sorry I can't be more optimistic.

i read the new york times on line from 1973!
there was an article that was saying the end of the world was for 1973!!
