With my son, there was no doubt what I was feeling. I just happened to be looking at my bare stomach one day and *WHAM* he kicked and my stomach jumped. He never fluttered...we just went straight to beat-the-crud-outta-Mommy. That was the first time I'd ever felt (or seen!) him move, too and I was about 4-5 months along. I didn't have "fluttery" feelings with him...

My daughter, on the other hand, fluttered all over the place. Even though I hadn't experienced it with my son, I knew beyond all shadow of a doubt that was her. The fluttering occured between the 3rd and 5th months.

You usually can't feel it well until about 3-4 months along, but sometimes you'll feel a flutter. It's really cool(until it pushes on your bladder at 3am, lol). Good Luck!
