First time around, why don't you try just trimming them just to see how it looks? At fifteen, you probably remember well what a clean look you had before puberty. Well, shaving won't bring that back. If you've seen other guys shaved, and liked the look, then go for it. But, if you have only imagined what it will look like, you may want to proceed a little more slowly.
At any rate, whatever you decide, there will be no harm done. No question, it will grow back. So, no big deal.

dude!, be careful when considering this. At only fifteen, you have a lot more maturing to do, no offense, but shaving the pubes can be a very itchy situation. Full return growth can take a couple of weeks, and sometimes it comes back fuller. Once you start you have to be diligent about keeping up with it or the itching is severe. I'm guessing it is the same for boys as it is for girls, my sister does it and this is what she has shared of her experience.

Everyone's different
("You are all individuals...." "We are all individuals...." "I'm not!")
and everyone's hair grows at a different rate. That's why you'll be getting a lot of different answers. Only way to know is to try.
At 15, you've probably got a bit of lengthening and thickening to do
(the HAIR, you pervert! Well, okay, the other thing too.)
and you might notice that by the time you let the hair grow back, it'll be coming back thicker and over more area than before.

Well, every single body is different. But, for the hair to fully grow back....about months. Your pants press up against it, stopping the hair from growing @ a certain point. So if you keep some type of pressure (like pants), it will not take as long. Hope this helps!!

Well, they'll start growing back within two days (and it'll be itchy as hell the first few times you shave, but that goes away after a while), and they'll probably be at a normal trimmed-looking length within a week or two, depending on your body.
