Yes, a home I lived in during my teen years....40 acres of field and woods behind it. We had an old barn in which my sister and I'd go up into the hayloft on rainy days, open the hayloft doors, and draw or read. We used to run around the field, with friends, climbing and running along the hayblales. We used to go biking on the hills in the woods. It's now all gone, replaced with a subdivision....it depresses me to even drive by there now, so I try not to anymore.

Yes. An old heritage house I used to live in as a child was torn down to make room for a highrise. I really miss that beautiful old house with its winding staircases, 4 stories and huge crystal chandeliers.

the apartment we lived in when I was 4 is torn down.
The school I went to in kindergarten is now an office building
2nd grade school torn down
My 4th grade school is an office building (vacant)
My 5th grade school was converted to a condo.
6th grade school torn down
Apartment I spent the summer at age 16 is torn down.
a place I lived at 17 is also torn down.
cottage my father built in the woods is also gone. just the foundation remains...
It feels weird to see these places changed/gone.

yeah same with you, our ancestral house, it has to be demolished because its old and they built a new one far more modern from the old one
