I'm getting married in September, it's a gothic-renaissance wedding. Anyone know of some activities that would tie in well with my theme?

For food I'll be roasting pigs and turkeys whole over an open fire, I'm baking large loaves of bread and I need a recipe for soup to go with it as well.

Here are a few sites I found. Don't really know what you have already planned.

Here's a website a friend of mine used for her Renaissance wedding. They used a sword to cut the cake, they drank mead in pewter goblets, they had minstrel singers, the works. Mind you, she and her husband met while volunteering at a Renaissance festival, so they had connections.

You should have a medieval style feast.
Maybe get a jester.
A maypole ties in nice with that time period, and was often seen at different types of celebrations.
You should get an artist or group that specializes in Celtic music.
I can't think of anything else at the moment.

use a twist on the something old, something new
something borrowed, something blue

Old battle boots, new spikes
borrowed black veil, blue hair dye
