The following is my take on the war in Mid-East:
Both sides (the Lebanese and the Israeli's) are wrong at this war. The Hezbulla were wrong to attack and take Israeli soldiers hostage. The Israeli army were wrong to attack them with bombs and rockets. I do agree that Hezbulla is a terrorist organization and that it has no right to exist. But bombing the Lebanese towns and cities is not the way to do it. Hezbulla's members live and work in residential areas and are mixed with people. And if you want to kill one of the terrorists, you'll end up killing many more civilians. So, both sides are wrong. This war MUST end as soon as possible. The US must intervene and stop this war. This is an unfair and unjust war and it will only create more hatred and violence. And of course, no one wants that to happen. I also want everyone to think of all the lives, from both sides, that have been lost in this bloody war. Those were PEOPLE. They were not toilet paper for the world to use and discard.

Did Great Britain enter into an unjust war during World War II when German Bombers demolished much of London with their bombs and later when V2 Rockets terrorized the people of London? Maybe Great Britain was then wrong in bombing Nazi Germany and strategically important cities that contained ordinance for the German War Machine or even the V2 Rockets?


I really enjoyed your statement but what you are claiming doesn't make sense.

If Hezzbolah is wrong in attacking Israel, why is it wrong for Israel to defend itself? Have you considered how wrong it is for the Hezzbolah Terrorists to use Lebanese Civilians as human shields while hiding out in Lebanon's cities?

What would you suggest the Israeli Government do? Ask Hezzbolah to please stop firing rockets and missiles at Israeli Cities? Pretty please with halãl burgers on top?

Israel has the most powerful military in the region and should use its military to defend itself when attacked. In war there WILL be casualties that are going to happen, even if those casualties are innocents.

If you take a stick and use it to bash a hornet’s nest, do you seriously think that the hornets in that nest are going to not bite you and anyone else around you that didn't bother them in the first place? Likewise Hezzbolah knew what it was doing and is therefore responsible for ALL civilian deaths on both sides since THEY not Israel STARTED yes HEZZBOLAH STARTED this war NOT Israel.

The USA does not need to enter the war. Israel is doing just fine defending herself on her own. What needs to happen is that Hezzbolah needs to voluntarily provide their own cease-fire and send an envoy thru diplomatic channels to Israel with an offer of peace. If Hezzbolah can loose their attitude of killing all the Jews, shooting missiles at Israeli cities, and not kidnap Israeli Soldiers, then and ONLY then can negotiation begin.

You're right this is an unfair and unjust war, but when is it ever fair to needlessly kidnap soldiers, shoot missiles at cities of a county that has not taken aggressive action toward you? I say let Israel and Hezzbolah fight it out as to encourage the Hezzbolah terrorists that they are only causing more death and destruction by continuing to fire weapons at Israel. Hezzbolah can either make an effort to stop their violence against Israel or Israel can have carte blanche in defending themselves against terrorist attacks. Israel is only defending itself and should not be condemned for doing so.

I disagree somewhat. I have always been of the mind that even if a wolf(Hezbollah) suckles you it is still a wolf. If you take to it as a supportive mother, you will have to accept the repercussions of the wolves actions. Choose your supporters wisely, choose unwisely, you have to face the music.
