I have the Pentium 4 3.2 640 processor it runs hot, I have a TAC case Antec tx640b extra fans, my solution was to replace the CPU cooler I bought a scythe ninja fanless it is HUGE and difficult to install as you have to access the other side of the motherboard to install a mounting plate, but it really works well

Most Pentium4s are hot. It is hotter if you are using a Prescott. If u are using Intel's stock fan, yes, as everyone suggest, get a better fan with a copper base.
Make sure your computer has good air circulation, otherwise there is not enough cool air to cool your CPU and also there would be too much hot air in your computer. Get fans to blow the air out of your computer.
good luck!

Check to see that there is enough heatsink glue on top of the processor and or that it is still good. The heatsink glue is responsible for getting a good transfer of heat from the processor to the heatsink. Other than that, a bigger heatsink with a new/bigger fan would fix your problem.

Laptops continuously run warm , they do no longer look to be probably made for gaming yet you will desire to purchase cooling followers for them . additionally it,s solid to stand them on something so that they have area decrease than them for taking part in video games. yet be certain you don,t block the air vents . suitable purchase a cooling pad , they do no longer look to be costly .
