Yes not in the big cities and it's mostly for girls.

I played when I was in college (women's rugby, in case the username isn't a clue.) My town's high school now has a boy's team and I bet a girl's team is coming soon. It's pretty popular in the Northeast. Just last week or so, I saw an episode of Made on MTV where a high school girl wanted to join her team because she wanted a tougher reputation and she wanted people to see her doing something that took a lot of hard work and dedication.

There's actually a tiny little town in Tennessee named Rugby--it was an English colony attempt that failed. It was around before the game was invented. Just a little trivia.

Absolutely!! Most large colleges have rugby teams and just about every boy plays it as a kid. We called it smear the queer when we were younger though.

Yes! It's not as popular as other sports, but is slowly gaining notice and popularity.

It's not usually offered below the university level, but many cities and urban areas have at least one club team.

You can check out usarugby.org to find out where teams are located and even team websites.

Je me suis toujours posé l. a. question.

Yes we do! It's not very popular, but many of us do play.
