He had remarkable love for the sport, when people saw him race they could feel the same passion that he could… you could see it in his eyes, that he wasn’t racing for the victory, he was racing to reach the brilliancy and he did reach it… Formula 1 has its fame because of Senna… he revealed F1 racing to the world, it’s simple as that!!!

Watched him closely when he won the British Formula Ford Championship before he got into GP.
He was technically brilliant, particularly the first half of the corner coming into the apex. He would use the weight transfer in the car to control understeer so he could get the power on earlier and get out of the corner quicker.
when I was racing I tried to do the same, it improved my lap times but I could never get the timing like he did. He was brilliant
