How can liking a particular style of music or having a favorite lyric or song, or enjoying listening to Greensleeves make you gay or lame? If that's the case, then everyone in the world is gay and lame, because everyone has a favorite style of music, or song, or group...etc. Most people even have a favorite type of classical and don't even know it. In the world of movie making, classical music is used to enhance the films emotions or action. It's not the only type used, but it is the most often overlooked. I didn't realize I even liked classical music until I fell in love with the theme music in a movie called Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeves. This led to researching for that song and I realized there were many classical pieces that I liked. If someone is telling you, that you are gay or lame for listening to classical music, tell them that you are preparing for your career in the movie making industry and it's a requirement that you know all types of music from Bach to Beethoven to Beyonce. Then ask them what they're ever going to do with their "favorite" music except ruin their eardrums! In short, ignore them and listen to what you like. You have "great leader" potential because you refuse to be like everyone else.

Not at all.

There are some pretty interesting things about classical music that not many ever will know.

Take for example, "The Pines of Rome" by Ottorino Resphigi. The last movement, "Pines of the Appian Way" has some VERY deep bass in it, and if not careful, one can blow the woofer/subwoofers of a stereo system.

I've seen more than just one or two over-zealous auto-audiophiles blow their speakers trying to crank that particular piece mentioned above.

So, gay means happy in you Q, right! I know it does, even if the sentence wouldn't make much sense.

Not lame. You like what you like.
