I love the pirates but they suck why the hell would the game of sold out

I live in pittsburgh and if you live here too and love the pirates half as much as I do you would want to boo Barry Bonds:-( because he used to play for us then he wined much like Jarmor Jagr did because he wanted to play for the same team his dad played for.

No clue. Back in May, I attended a Pirates/Astros game at PNC....it lasted for, I kid you not...17 innings!! I thought I would die. Both teams sucked that night, can't explain what's up with the Pirates.
Maybe the game sold out due to wishful thinking by the fans.

Barry Bonds started his career with the Pirates. The local fans probably felt it was there last chance to see the hometown hero in action before his retirement.
