does anyone know a person who has a felony but has turned their life around and now has a good job or returned to school

i don't know any felons who aren't in prison still

A person I went to high school with did 10 years (4 suspended) for a felony. He is now a bounty hunter and volunteers at the YMCA.

My brothers step son was heading for his third strike. I guess he felt he had enough so he decided not to go back to prison. He has had a few really good jobs since he got out. One of the jobs he has had I think three times. He leaves for more money and they hire him back for more money. He has since gone on for a better job with more money. He was actually my supervisor for 9 months when I worked as a diesel mechanic at the shop where he was the foreman when I moved to the Fresno area. That was in 99, I have since moved back home and quit fixing cars for a living. I am hoping he keeps it clean because I don't really want to be his keeper if you get my drift. Now if his brother can just do the same when he gets out.

Yes, Judge Gregg Mathis. All things are possible if you believe in yourself. You don't need anyone else to tell you how great you are when you know deep inside that you are great. Everyone can start anew. It only takes courage like the courage they had to commit the felony to make a positive change in their own life.

YES BUT ITS HARD [OUT OF PRISON 6 MONTHS] HAD ONE JOB GOT LAY ED OFF FIRST TO GO.BEST ADVICE DO NT GET ONE.YOU CAN DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT. IT MATTERS HOW BAD YOU WANT IT.
ON THE JOB SEARCH MY ADVICE DO NT CHECK THE FELONY QUESTION.LOOK AT IT LIKE THIS IF THEY DO THE BACK GROUND CHECK AND FIND OUT YOUR A FELON NINE CHANCES OUT OF 10 YOU NOT GETTING THE JOB ANYWAY.IVE LEARNED THIS THE HARD WAY. I HAVE 4 FELONY'S 2 BUNCHES YOU KNOW HOW THEY STACK CHARGES I ASSUME.CERTAIN BACKGROUND CHECK I CAN PASS. THE ONLY ONE I FAIL IS A STATE POLICE CHECK. AND ITS FOR SOMTHINGING I NOT EVAN CONVICTED OF.YOU MAY THINK THIS IS DISHONEST ADVICE .BUT YOU HAVE TO LIVE TO.BEST ADVICE IS DO GO BACK TO SCHOOL IF YOU CAN.
