from The Simpsons - Bart, because he is a troublemaker, and his spiked hair and he rides a skateboard. he is one of the coolest characters in The Simpsons. the bus driver is pretty gnarly too.
from Family Guy - i would have to go with peter. his jokes are so hilarious and off the wall. and his "retardedness" is off the charts, regardless of what was stated in "Petarded". My favorite scenes are the 2 fights with the chicken who gave peter a bad coupon once! LOL! that sh-- is so funny!

Bart Simpson is my favorite. He is the most adult child in the world still in anime. The humor is adult, and the shows are funny on an adult level. Bart is smart beyond his years in the school of how to be a wise *** and funny at the same time. The Family Guy's Got Nothing on The Simpsons.

I prefer The Simpsons to Family Guy... But it's just too difficult to chose a favorite character...

I LOVE the Simpsons!!! It's hard to choose favorite characters, because they are ALL so clever! But I really laugh a LOT over Smithers, Moe, and Flanders & his little sissy-boys!!! The show is a laugh riot - still "edgy" after all these years.
As for that other show, it hasn't caught my interest.

for the family guy of course it is stewie but i dont particularly favor the family guy because it gets a little overboard but when its not its still freakin halarious
