The Kite Runner...it has action, set over a 30 year span in Aphganastan from before the Russian occupation in the 70s until just about 9-11-2001. FACINATING.

Starts off good, gets boring but has a good ending.

I finally got around to reading "Snow Falling On Ceders."

It's one hell of a well-written novel, based on a true story, with some action, mystery and romance.

Before that I read 'Angels And Demons.' - a novel with lots of action based around facts.
