93 including the metalloid elements and the transitionals

The earth has all the ELEMENTAL metals on the periodic chart that are not man-made.

Many of these elements are trace metals that came from outer space --such as all the rhodium, gold and platinum. But they're all here unless we bombarded nuclei to create some short-lived heavy ones.

Hydrogen seems to be the most common element in the universe -- get it cold enough and compact enough, and it, too, is a metal.
