Both. It is important to be equally balanced. To be educated in both area's of life. There like oxygen, you need both to survive.

Book Smart. I have very poor street skills. There are a number of different types of intelligences. I generally max out standardized tests.

There are several intelligences in addtion to street skills I do not possess. The only reason I am good at music is because music is math. Some people are very good at music, without having conventional mathematic skills.

Both.I am told that I am well educated and grew up in the streets of Phila.Have traveled extensively and believe me street smarts come in handier and seem more respected.
