Well, it finished 1-1 the first goal was scored by Gilardino, then it came the own-goal by Zaccardo. This is the only goal taken by Italy during an action, so technically Buffon hasn't taken any goals
Angus thank you for coping me. You're pathetic but anyway I'm talking about goals during an action not goals scored by penalty. How good Zidane is! He scored by penalty and he was almost missing it though! Wow!

the match between ITALY & UNITED STATES finished in a 1-1 draw. Albertino Gilardino gives ITALY the lead in the 22nd minute. but then, UNITED STATES got their equalizer thru an own goal by Cristian Zaccardo in the 27th minute.
there were no more goals in the second half of the match, but it was marred by three red cards issued by the referee, Jorge Larrionda from URUGUAY.
Daniele De Rossi was the first one to be red carded after a clash with Brian McBride. Pablo Mastroeni was the next recipient after a foul on Andrea Pirlo. the third red card of the match was given to Eddie Pope for a foul on Albertino Gilardino.

first it was ALBERTO GILARDINO [the hottest EVER and MY LOVE <3] and then that Zaccardo scored in his own net..
Then my other love, Daniele De Rossi elbowed a guy in the nose and was red carded.. 4 matches!! [wasn't fair!!!]
