That's what tampons are made for, use them and all the blood stays inside therefore not attracting sharks.

I would think that if you are swimming where there are lifeguards then there should be warnings posted if there were sharks in the area, just keep your eyes open and watch for warnings and change your tampons frequently.

It really isn't a great idea to go swimming anywhere while you have your period. Any blood could of course attract sharks, but I am sure you can refrain from swimming for 5 or 6 days.

I've always been fascinated by sharks... and scared of them at the same time. From what I've learned, its best to play it safe and wait a week until it is over. Sharks can smell one drop of blood in miles of ocean. Why risk it? Just wade in the water until its over. :)

of course it's okay to swim! Tampons work great! Besides you don't bleed enough to attract a shark!!!!!

The blood stays inside you because of the waterpressure. therefore the sharks cannot sense it. only if it escapes you lol.

but what about when you come OUT of the water?? everyone will see the blood!! LOL
