I want people to like me and pay attention to me but I don't enjoy too much attention. When you think of it the centre of attention can mean the center of negative attention like an inquiry or a corrective interview. Even too much positive attention can get tiresome.

camshy beat me to it. astrology studied in a serious way is a true art and science, when, also, meaningfully applied. thus, as a leo born in the year of the dragon,( even better,eh?), i can say, we assume we're the center of attention, because it's so obviously deserved. (chuckle). actually, because we never lack for high self esteem, and thus are quite annoying to many, i tried to figure out the root of this infamous behavior. one possibility is that we like to cheer people up, and entertain. we want others to be happy. and, perhaps misguidedly, we take over the job of entertaining, which "requires" center stage. anyway, as they age, i've found leos and other attention seeking types tend to mellow out and quiet down to the relief of many, i'm sure. cheers! p.s. we mean well! :-) some famous leos you all will know--ex-pres clinton-a classic case, madonna, mick jagger, robert plant, sandra bullock,

On those rare occasions where I'm being adored by my throng of admiring fans, YES, most definitely.... but when (and this is a much more realistic scenario) I am being stared at by my co-workers because I have a big wad of toilet paper still hanging outside the back of my pants but I don't realize it yet, then NO, on those occasions I don't enjoy it so much.

Not really but I know of several question askers on here than do. I wonder what they are really like in the real world outside of the P.C. and Yahoo.
