since you said, new computer, i am assuming that you have windows xp. If no one has set up a password, did you just click on the Ok, or log in button? if you did, and it talks about invalid password, did you forget your password, then indeed some one has set one for you. If you do have windows xp, i can only think of one way to get in.... you will need to follow these instructions exactly, you will need to restart your computer, then as it starts up, if you hear a beep, then press the F8 key... if it works right, you will have a start up menu, choose the option for SafeMode, using your up and down arrow, then when you get to safe mode, if you are lucky, you can log into the system as Administrator, and then go into start, control panel, then users, and you should be able to reset your password to nothing... by leaving the boxes blank...

You will have to take a look at popping within the Windows Installation CD and check out repairing it. In order for that, you have to boot from the CD and pc startup. What you imply this is that on Windows startup it logs off. It may not be a malware hindrance considering that there might be no improvement for the author if the working procedure shuts proper after go online. Or take a look at reformatting and reinstalling, that is the pleasant strategy to celebrity new and blank

with out knowing whether this is a system password, before os loads up, or an os password, or what os you're running there is no simple answer, it could require a simple system reset or may be more involved(i.e system recovery/reininitialization) best suggestion go to a service center and have them look at it, somethings are not diagnosable remotely. and ctrl alt delete won't do much good in this situation.
