Thoughts about Naruto's parents??

So who are they?....the anime and manga have never mentioned who Naruto's parents are...but there many hints that indicate that the fourth might be his dad - for one the the resemblance, and how Jiraiya said that Naruto reminds him of the 4th, and how naruto wants to become the next hokage. But this whole thing is confusing me if the 4th hokage his truly his dad why would they keep it secret, I mean if the naruto was the 4th's son he wouldn't be and outcast...It think the author is palying with our minds here and in the least expected moment will come out with some kindof twist or something...what are yu're thoughts?

some people think the fourth could have been his brother because of the brother relationships in the show, and maybe his parents were killed by the kyubi, also only naruto and jeraiya can do the rasengan, which was the fourths move, so maybe he is narutos father but only time will tell

i think yondaime is naruto's dad. the resemblence is too good to be coincidental. and on the scroll (the one where you sign your name to summon frogs) there was a name "arashi uzumaki". the fourth, being jiraiya's student would have most probably signed that.

there are some rumors tha say that the fourth and his wife are members of akatsuki and for (if that is true) that may most probably be the reason why they don't wanna tell naruto who his "dad" is but they put up pics of him coz' there might be a sorta like a war between the citizens of konoha and who know what the fouth did after he sealed the kyuubi.

and anyways, why do you think would the fourth seal the kyuubi inside naruto? he can't just grab any kid 'ya know. so he chose naruto to be the "cage" of the demon fox.

well yea the 4th seems to b the obvious answer to be Naruto's dad but his mom? not sure she's just not there. well even if he was the 4th's son he would b an outcast because of the Kyubi. That's why people isolated him, not for being an orphan

The 4th Hokage is probably his father... but we have no idea who the mother was. She couldn't have been fighting the fox demon, because she was probably giving birth to Naruto(this may be the reason why she died)...

If the 4th is his father he will still be an outcast. Look at Garaa he was the son of the leader of his village but he was still outcasted.

I believe the fourth is Naruto's Father and that Jiraya is related to him, maybe his uncle. His mother, was probably a ninja who fougth the fox and lost her life.

they can alter the story probably at the last part if they want to.
and we can only say... "aah.. so that's what all happened!" see my point? they put the twist of the story at the end.

We can only guess. We think his father was the fourth hokage, but no hard evidence.
