you stick your pick into the lock and move it around back and forth until you hear the tumblers fall into position and the you give it a final jerk and the lock will open for you.... It sounds a lot like another favorite thing I like to do...if you know what I mean. ;)

When I am picking a lock, I look at features like color, rustproofing, difficulty of removal with bolt cutters, etc.

You can shim the lock if it's a cheapie. Put shims on the locking side in between the U-shaped bar and the body of the padlock.

don't waste your time..today's technology is too powerful.....just knock on the door or get a locksmith.....
ask yourself if it is really worth the trouble anyway...
